YESCO adopts Defender Safety’s new type ll helmets

YESCO was in a recent spotlight by Defender Safety Helmets after adopting their new type II helmets:

“YESCO , a 104-year-old company founded in 1920 by Thomas Young, continues to uphold its legacy of innovation and safety by adopting the Defender Safety H2 Type 2 Safety Helmet.

Isaac Gallegos, Safety Director at YESCO, has been instrumental in recommending the adoption of the new helmets: ‘We’ve received positive feedback from our employees about the helmets,’ said Gallegos. ‘They not only find them more comfortable but also feel that they significantly enhance overall compliance and safety.’

The Defender Safety H2 Type 2 Safety Helmet offers superior protection by guarding against both top and side impacts. This is a major step up from traditional Type 1 helmets, which only provide top impact protection. With the addition of chin straps, the H2 helmets also ensure the helmets stay securely in place during high-risk activities”.

We’re proud to lead the industry in safety and innovation and will continue to prioritize the well-being of our employees and pave the way for future advancements.

YESCO announces it has completely retrofitted the colossal scoreboard at New Mexico State University’s Aggie Memorial Stadium with a new display made by Watchfire. Taking more than 1,600 man-hours of labor to complete, the scoreboard renovation was finished on Saturday, July 27, just ahead of New Mexico State University’s first football game of the season which occurred on Saturday, Aug. 31 against Southeast Missouri State University.

YESCO also fabricated a three-inch-wide steel frame to match the sign’s existing mounting brackets and manufactured aluminum end cladding, three mesh frames and faces at the top front of the display and one mesh frame system for the entire back of the display.

In addition to retrofitting the new signage, YESCO also removed and disposed of the previous A/C units and duct work, flex faces, existing sign cabinets, existing digital displays and existing sound speakers.
