Definition of a neon sign: (n) An illuminated sign constructed from fluorescent lights in the form of bent glass tubes; the different colors being obtained by adding different noble gases to the neon. At YESCO, we know neon signs. In the early 1930s, YESCO was among the first sign companies to manufacture its own customized neon tubing rather than relying on prefabricated tubes. Our employees at the sign shop in Ogden were kept busy supplying and repairing neon signs for businesses, not only in Ogden and Logan, but also throughout Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Nevada. The tradition of being on the cutting edge of technology has continued. Some of our iconic neon signs can be seen at the Neon Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada. If you love neon signs like we do, you may be interested in the museum’s website at Neon Museum.
