Tell the World With Signs
This is the name of a popular sign-industry initiative which premiered one hundred years ago, in the spring of 1922. “Tell the World with Signs” was the contest-winning motto for Sign Week, a nationally popular, civic-pride event which emphasized the value and effectiveness of well-designed signs. During Sign Week, local sign contractors refreshed and refurbished old signs, established contacts with clients old and new, and held a parade to present their finest products. For many decades, sign companies displayed the “Tell the World” motto on their business cards, stationery and vehicles. YESCO joined the effort and continues the tradition.
