Since the early days of signage in the 1940s-1950s fluorescent lamps have played a significant role in illuminating Las Vegas’ vibrant landscape. While neon signs stole the spotlight with their dazzling colors, fluorescent lamps provided the even illumination needed for large, backlit displays.
