Classic Deco Neon
Years ago, a section of Las Vegas Boulevard called “Motel Row” was booming with motels and fabulous signage. The Tod Motor was one of these motels that originally opened in 1962. Since then, their deco neon sign made a name for itself across the globe.
As Las Vegas started growing elsewhere, Motel Row started to decline. The Tod Motor Motel closed in 2015 but their famous signage still remains today.
As part of Las Vegas Boulevard’s scenic byway improvement project, The City of Las Vegas asked YESCO to relocate the Tod Sign in order to put in a new sidewalk. The job was recently completed and the Tod sign remains a Las Vegas classic.
